Join Sheikh Sammar and Mabroor Farrukh for Thursday's show where we will be discussing: Trust/Young carers
Trust: Misplaced Responsibility?
What is the role of responsibility when we place our trust in something, should we trust blindly, or should we exercise some caution when we trust our leaders? Does our capacity to trust someone make us shirk our personal responsibilities to think and act for ourselves? Join us LIVE from 4pm as we explore the complex relationship between trust and responsibility.
Young carers: heavy burden on young shoulders
Approximately 1 in every 12 teenagers is a young carer, meaning they have a caring role providing for someone with physical or emotional disabilities in their family. Join us LIVE from 5pm as we discuss the added stress the pandemic has placed on these young shoulders and what more needs to be done to support and help young carers.
Guests include:
Annie Wright ( Licensed psychotherapist specialising in complex trauma, founder and clinical director of Evergreen Counselling )
Serge Prengel ( Exploring creative approaches to mindfulness on his podcast, Activepause.com )
Dr Robert Hurley ( Author of The Decision to Trust)
