Life as a Road Trip “Mind your Lane”
Life can be compared to a Road Trip. There are different lanes or markings on the road. Each lane can take any vehicle, but once the vehicle is on the lane, it cannot move or change lanes unless the road is clear.
A vehicle cannot occupy two lanes, but can only switch lanes when there is no other vehicle on the spot.
In human terms, this can be compared to the decisions we make in life. We are either on God’s side or the other side which may be the adversary’s side.
However, some may shy away from taking a position and decide to keep quiet or be mute. Interestingly, to be mute is to accept the suggestions of the adversary. This is a hard truth, but it is the reality.
Detours, Stop signs: There are sometimes detours or stop signs on the journey.
Your detour or stop sign must not deter your tour or journey. In like manner or human perspective when it appears like we have deviated or missed the way, by falling short in our Walk with God or relationship, we must not quit or give up: All we have to do when we miss it or fall short is to make a conscious effort to return to our source or repent (A 360 degrees) turnaround. This requires genuine repentance and a determination to continue in the right path or lane, by walking in total obedience. A stop sign could be an event that requires you to be more cautious or “Watchful” just as the stop signs prompt you to wait patiently until the road is clear. Some disappointments, delay or denials could mean a “Stop sign” on the journey.
In most cases, at the start or beginning of any journey, we are most likely to be certain or sure of ethe route to take. However, we may decide at some point during the journey to change direction or take a quicker or longer route depending on our reason. A shorter route could be because we want to get to the destination early. Sometimes we are forced to take a longer route just to avoid challenges on the road such as road blocks, traffic or road construction. Whether we take a short route or follow the usual or longer route, the important factor is to arrive at your destination safely.
In like manner, life does not promise us a smooth sailing, but God assures us or guarantees us safe landing as long as we make Jesus Christ our Source and the Holy Spirit, our Guide or real GPS (God’s Pathway to Success or Safety). God always guides His own to ensure safe landing. The end is always better than the beginning when we follow God’s divine instruction.
The People you come across in your journey also represent temporary or multiple destinations which you get to and sometimes before you continue the journey.
Some relationships may be dropped off, meaning you are done with that route on your journey.
Choose to let Jesus Christ take the front seat in your vehicle of Life, Amen.
Prayer: Father please do not let me continue the remaining journey of 2022 without God The Father, The Son, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit.
