Working Righteousness - A righteous God, demands righteousness and for Christians today, our actions and all we do should be to be found in #ChristJesus unto #goodworks that is connected to our faith. For without faith, we cannot please #God. Even #Israel not only had to follow the law, but they also had to have #faith. A commodity that many had trouble with. We also find other New Testament ideals that we use to today, which #Isaiah writes about. These include the fact that "we have sinned", "we are as an unclean thing", "because of our iniquities", "all our righteousness as filthy rags", "we do fade as a leaf", "thou art our Father", "we are the clay", "thou art the Potter", "we are the work of thy hand", and "we shall be saved." These common phrases we find in Isaiah also have a place in the gospel and the New Testament. The #Apostles taught these principles and more, many more which are found in the #OldTestament [Tanakh] and confirmed again in the #NewTestament. It is also true as #Christianbelievers and as Isaiah said, "But Now O #LORD, thou art our #father; we are the #clay, and thou our #potter; and we all are the work of thy hand -Isaiah 64:8." #WorkingRighteousness
