House of Jacob - The nations of men have trouble believing that God is in control. We look at a prominent portion of Isaiah and a famous section referencing a miraculous deliverance in Judah. Here we have the Antagonist and Protagonist. We also have those who are in the middle of the judgment of God. Herein, we find truth, judgment, righteousness, and a God who is governor of the nations.

House of Jacob - Sennacherib is a name well known in history. One problem for this Assyrian king is that he is not his dad Sargon. He decided to go against Jerusalem. Before he got there he moved across the land sending terror. No one could stop it him, or so he thought. Overlooking Jerusalem from Mount Zion, the enemy had a good view of Israel. Today, we find the justice, judgment, and ongoing hand of God stalwort in dealing with Judah's sins. This will culminate years later. For now, the deliverance is real and so is the devastation to the land before the enemy was stopped.
