UNDERSTANDING THE COPYRIGHT TRAP - Bungie Strikes Byf (Destiny Lore) (VL645)

We've talked at length about largesse on this channel; about the fact that publishers clearly aren't giving the legal licenses necessary for creators to give them all the free marketing they otherwise enjoy.

But rarely has the use of the "copyright trap" even been as obvious as what Bungie has done by striking long time Destiny Lore channel "My Name is Byf". While the strike is likely an error in both strategy and execution it very much highlights the risks content creators are asked to take on every day.
