GRAN TURISMO SEVERED - Messy Microtransaction Maintenance (VL644)

Gran Turismo 7 is a great game, but like so many other games in 2022 (and likely beyond), it is weighed down by microtransaction madness, hidden online requirements, and business decisions that don't consider the impact of both.

All of which unfortunately came to a head for Sony, PlayStation, and Polyphony during server maintenance to introduce patch 1.07 on March 17, 2022. Let's talk about it.
