With Sony apparently facing unexpectedly high manufacturing costs for its PlayStation 5 (PS5) console ($450!), and Microsoft's continuing move to transform it's gaming division into a software as a service (SaaS) revenue generator, Xbox (and Xbox Series X) finds itself in a fairly unique position as gamers move into the next generation of consoles?
