With Record Store Day just around the corner, it's our pleasure to bring to you Ben Vaughn! He has a new limited edition album, The World of Ben Vaughn, exclusively available on RSD 2022. A widely acclaimed and accomplished musician and producer who has worked with the likes of Alan Vega, Alex Chilton, Ween, Los Straitjackets, Pink Slip Daddy, The Friggs and many more. Ben also worked in television and film as a composer for Third Rock From the Sun, That 70's Show, Grounded For Life as well as many others. His syndicated radio program, The Many Moods of Ben Vaughn, gives his audience a sampling of the eclectic blend of music that makes up his personal music collection and what has been an influence on him. With that being what we do here, I can't think of a better person to have on our program to discuss one of those records that has had a profound effect on him, The Sir Douglas Band's Texas Tornado! He's a beautiful cat, man!
