It should come as no surprise that The Pop Group's 1979 debut album "Y", being an amalgam of punk funk, jazz fusions, and avant noise, would speak so syseynchtly to the heart of this episode's guest, "Hash" Vyas. Most notably being the bass player for Thievery Corporation and GoGoGo Airheart, Hash has been a huge fan of all types of music for all his life, but let's be serious, that shit's gotta have some bass! And this album has got it in spades. I went on location for this one to Hash's residence to speak about this album, share my upright bass(which Hash did a little bit of noodling on at the end), and talk a little about his latest project, Gnarnia. Great talk and great hang.
