For over 40 years, my guest, Peter Prescott, has been creating music that has pushed himself out into the experimental areas of early punk and into the point of generational influence. Peter is best know for his work with Mission of Burma, but has gone on to create acts such as Volcano Suns, Kustomized, and the Peer Group. We talk in depth about his latest band, Minibeast, which takes a lot of the droney repetitive influence from the group Neu! and cranks it to 11. Sit down and listen to this album with us while we discuss Peter’s lengthy career, Neu!’s 1972 electronica debut, vinyl record reselling, and what’s not to love about living in the smallest state.
