Here's a special extra short episode with the whole band. We all hope everyone's had a happy Thanksgiving or at least made the best out of that you could. We have a lot to be thankful for and have even more gratitude to dish out. This episode is to give a moment to introduce The Hammer Party to those who do not know them, and officially announce the release of their debut album, Smashed Hits, which Psychic Static is putting out. This episode is also premiering the debut video for the first single off the album, Waiting for the Bus! Try not to get this song stuck in your head.
And in the spirit of giving, we all realized that there was an opportunity for us to do something to give back a little to one of the biggest supporters of the band, Rick Sunderland of Dusk in Providence, RI. The nightclub/bar that is facing exceptionally difficult times during the pandemic like most all independent venues across the world, but has close ties to the band being where the album was recorded and the video was partially filmed. So we have all agreed to auction off one of the test pressing for the vinyl which is signed and decorated by the band. If you're hearing this, then it's available now! Get it here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/203198658724

100% of the sale of this album will go to Rick to help keep the doors open, so bid as much as you can and jack that price up! We thank you for whatever you can do. Peace and love and a prosperous 2021!

Waiting for the Bus was conceived and filmed by J Drab. With cooperation from Barbara Polichetti of RIPTA and Rick Sutherland of Dusk. Dave Tessier and Matt Trap both portray "the man".
