Each week this summer, we are going to teach through a book of the Bible. Our desire is to look for themes and lessons from these stories that can help us in our lives.
The Book of Hosea is a love letter, a story of a man who pursues a woman to the fullest extent. Even though she doesn't always reciprocate the affection that is shown her, he continues to chase after her. This is a image of the love God had for Israel in the Old Testament stories and that Jesus had for all humanity when He went to the cross.
