Rev. Dr. Scott Black Johnston is senior pastor at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City and was Village's Meneilly visiting scholar this weekend. He holds a B.A. in history and religion from St. Olaf's College, an M.Div. from Yale Divinity School and a Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Dr. Johnston was professor of homiletics at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
