Bio: Growing up in the merciless city that is Rochester, New York in the late 80’s, it wasn't long before 13 year-old Marsellis McGowan aka M.A.R.S., formerly known as Sellis Da Don, would start reciting poems that he had written and then formed a group call Lyrical Warfare. Influenced by Jadakiss, Jay Z, Fabolous, and T.I. M.A.R.S decided to launch his own rap career at the tender age of 14. Releasing his first song titled “Crack In My Palm” to express how his hard work led to him physically having cracked palms. Sheltered by no means, the emcee was exposed to a lifestyle commonly adopted in the inner city. However, this exposure didn't influence his character in a way that on-lookers would expect. After surviving a near fatal Blood Clot, M.A.R.S is back on the scene and ready to release his 5th Mixtape titled Memories Are The Realest Dreams.
