This podcast is a reading of Chapter 6 of my new novel, Hire Lernin': An Idealist’s Quest Through the Realm of for-Profit Education. It concerns Dan's eye-opening one-day orientation at the flagship school in Manhattan that raises far more questions for him than it answers but does little to blunt his optimism and self-imposed mission to implement meaningful changes starting immediately as he fully begins his new role as dean of the Queens school.
