Meet Power couple and entrepreneurs Chef Jon and Jinelle who are the proud owners of Artisanal Foods that is a 15,000 sq foot grocery store that offers gourmet foods ( such as Japanese A5 Wagyu, truffles, Iberico ham, caviar, foie gras and other coveted ingredients to Las Vegas’ top resturants) from all across the world. The grocery store has also room for grab-and-go items, products demos, cooking classes, and some interactive attractions. Aside from the grocery store, the couple also own Your Panadas “An Empanada Company” that opened its doors in Spring of 2019. Bringing recipes from the Caribbean (Panama/Puerto Rico/Trinidad ) via the East Coast, the food mobile kitchen (food truck) creates is a fusion of both cultures and flavors.

In addition to the Artisanal Foods grocery store and Your Panadas Food Truck, Jinelle and Chef Jon also started Ghost Unit Kitchen. During the NV state shut down in 2020 nonessential businesses including casinos and dine-in restaurants, and most casinos donated food left in their empty kitchens to charity. Jon & Jinelle thought the food could help them stay in business. Instead, they found out that the resort and other places such as Rich’s Foodservice and food pantries had hundreds of pallets of food. So the Batista’s teamed up with Chef Jordon Dunewood to form Ghost Unit Kitchen with a goal to help feed the hungry during the pandemic. “In an hour, they fed 367 families with boxes of real food,” Jon says of the first round of donations in April 2022
