The long-time Stanford assistant coach talks about his plan for the Utah program

Hideki Nakada is his first season as the Utah soccer head coach. During the episode of Utes Insider, he joins host Mike Lageschulte to talk about what drew him to Utah, his coaching influences and philosophies, and his goals for the Utah program. Nakada comes to Utah after spending the last seven seasons as an assistant and associate head coach at Stanford. In his seven years on The Farm, Nakada helped guide the Cardinal to National Championships in 2017 and 2019, and five-consecutive Pac-12 Championships from 2015-19. He has also worked as an assistant coach at Idaho State, Marquette and Oregon.
