I am thrilled to have the amazing Dr. Stecher to talk about wellness, weight, and advocacy.
Dr. Kellie Stecher is an accomplished OB/GYN; she is also a published writer, public speaker, and the co-founder of Patient Care Heroes. She fiercely advocates for reproductive rights, healthcare access, mental healthcare access, and gender and racial equity.
Dr. Kellie fights tirelessly for what’s right and for people who don’t have a voice. She’s made her OBGYN practice a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Partners in Grand Rapids, MI, and earned her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI.
Her foundation was laid at St. Mary's University in Winona, MN, where she completed her undergraduate studies.
Recent years have seen Dr. Stecher's impact on healthcare recognized and celebrated. In 2022, she was named one of Medika Life's Top 50 most influential voices in healthcare and received the Silver Medal for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Product Leader of the Year at the 2022 Anthem Awards.
Her dedication was further acknowledged at the 2021 Ending Physician Burnout Global Summit, where she was honored as a Top Speaker, and in 2021, she was a runner-up for Physician Leader of the Year at the Sharp Awards, The Sharp Index.
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine recognized her as a Top Doctors Rising Star in both 2019 and 2020, and 2020, she was celebrated as a Women in Medicine Top Obstetrician-Gynecologist.
