Jennifer Reid, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist and award-winning medical educator, caring for patients in the Philadelphia area in her private practice and teaching residents in her role as clinical faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. She attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her psychiatry residency at UCLA.
Dr. Reid is a regular contributor to Psychology Today with her blog, “Think Like a Shrink.” She also writes podcasts as The Reflective Doc, sharing information about the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness. Her writing has been also been featured on Kevin MD and Doximity.
