Mike Tucker is the Head Athletic Performance Coach for Villanova Football. He is entering his third year at the program and has done an incredible job implementing the High/Low model into the football setting in order to best develop high outputs and robust aerobic bases. In this episode we talk about scheduling the right stressors at the right time, modifying lifts in-season to accommodate football stressors and progressions for COD/Agility drills.

This was an awesome deep dive into planning out a year of football training while avoiding common pitfalls such rigid warmups, an overabundance of medium intensity stressors and a lack of attention to sprinting. Mike is doing big things and I appreciate him sharing this information as he has done throughout quarantine on a weekly basis on his outstanding zoom chats.
