In this episode of “Unwrap Your Candies Now,” Ernie Manouse chats with Cissy Segall Davis, managing director of Miller Outdoor Theatre, about the historic Houston venue. Opened in 1923 and named after Jesse Wright Miller, the Miller Outdoor Theatre offers the largest “always free” program of its kind in the country, with eight months of professional entertainment free of charge to the public, making it an especially popular summer destination.

Catherine Lu talks to artist Felipe Lopez about his exhibition, The Want In My Nature, on view at Deborah Colton Gallery through June 15. The father, husband and conceptual artist chats about nature, water and parenting – all of which inspire his works, in particular his video piece Ab Aqua Libertas (based on the water birth of his daughter) and his Faucet Series. Lopez is also the author of the paper Neo-Traditionalism, which presents his ideas and theories of a new art movement.
