Running from September 20, 2011 to May 15, 2018, New Girl is one of the most popular sitcoms of the decade. Set in Los Angeles and following the lives of a handful of 30-somethings, trying to get their lives together, it is often compared to shows like How I Met Your Mother, and Friends. But what sets New Girl apart?
