Minneapolis-St. Paul-based choreographer Ananya Chatterjea, of Ananya Dance Theatre, discusses her work Dastak, a socially distanced, site-specific work about the multiple crises facing the U.S. right now. For Dastak, she collaborated with writer and jazz artist Sharon Bridgeforth, singer and cellist Spirit McIntyre, and composer and musician Dameun Strange.
