Thomas, Harvard Classics professor and author of the new book Why Bob Dylan Matters, which explores the literary themes linking the beloved American songwriter with the ancient poets of Greece and Rome. (So maybe that surprise Nobel win last year shouldn't have been a surprise at all.)
