Episode 28 has Carlos and Dave talking the XFL finally having some logos and team nicknames to call their own. The guys aren’t too impressed and have some questions over the inspiration of one of the teams. Dave has his complaints about VAR in the Pretentious Cross Country Running report, both of them discuss the NFL preseason game in Winnipeg and it’s wacky field configuration while Dave finds a kindred spirit who also struggles with Geography.

In the main topic, there is a half-hearted attempt at looking at the AFC for the upcoming NFL season. Both guys have pretty much conceded that it’s more Patriots unless something dramatic changes, but there is a discussion of what other interesting storylines there might be going into the 2019-2020 NFL season.
