1 - Unlocking Sounds of the Forest

I interviewed festival Director and forest lover, Sarah Bird. Instead of recreating her annual Timber Festival online, she and her team at Wild Rumpus did something a bit special: Sounds of the Forest, a crowdsourced map of forest sounds from around the world. I learned how she responded to change, the ins and outs of making a soundmap and how a project like this can have long term impacts. We discussed nature's significance during lockdown and the importance of staying positive.
