I invite guests to share personal stories about acts of leadership that help shape their lives. In Episode 80, John Riordan shares five words that changed his outlook on life. He talks about his time in Uganda and how soccer helped unite children from diverse backgrounds. Finally, he advises us on how to rethink our life’s purpose, daily choices, and our life’s journey.


Prologue


For more than 20 years, John has consulted with a broad range of federal, private, and non-profit organizations. He has conducted hundreds of planning, team building, and training workshops


ranging from large conferences (200+) to small intact teams. John is the co-founder and Director of the Cornerstone Leadership Academy, a boarding school community for young adults. At the Academy, they focus on leadership, character, spiritual and intellectual development.
