Welcome to the United States of Geekdom, the show that talks about that makes us Geeks go tick!  We are THRILLED To bring you this, our 51st episode! Since the Antediluvian Period mankind has dwelled upon one question more than any other in the vastly annals of human history.  Who would win in a fight?  Not the simple predicting of the outcome of a gladiatorial contest mind you, but rather a fanciful bout staged between two beings that are entrenched in the collective cultural psyche of the time.  Pliney the Elder is credited with the first recorded instance of posing such a question (c. 70 AD) when he queried which would still be standing were the Minotaur pitted against the Achilles’ Centaur tutor Chiron.  This mythological conundrum would be revisited in the seventh episode of 1963’s “The Mighty Hercules” (“Double Trouble”) in which the Minotaur’s young son Beepy fought Newton in mortal combat. If you have ever wondered who would prevail in a smack-down between Rip Torn and Rip Taylor, Lightning McQueen and Speed Buggy, or Commander Data and Awesome-O then this is the episode for you!  Dozens of battles are discussed and explored as we unlock the tantalizing mystery of who would win in a fight between X and Y! \

*Those two have been at each other’s throats since the day that Y was declared “sometimes a vowel”!

ALSO: For the first time ever, Rick gets broken by the crew.  Andy breaks Catherine (yet again) and we run a rapid fire gauntlet of match ups and discuss who would kick whose butt in a fight!  Thanks for listening and stay geeky!
