We’re back!! Life got in the way, but art never dies!
We talked with the lovely and flexible Jordan Remar (dancer for Govinda and many others) about one of my favorite performers alive, Zoe Jakes (Beats Antique). This show is a new one in many ways. First of all this is our first episode featuring a woman! Not only that, but we get to get into something different than just musicians, we are talking about dance! This episode is as awesome as it sounds, we break down what it means to dance to every bit of the music. Jordan talks with us about beginnings, paving the way for live dance in the music festival scene, and the ways perceive dance and movement. Jordan is such a soft and sweet person to have on this show and we can’t thank her enough. This episode is the second of our double feature, her partner in life and in music Govinda was on Episode 4 talking about Tipper. Listen to that one if you haven’t! Thanks again to Jordan and Govinda for talking with us about their combined art form and how it all works! We would love to have more shows like this one.
