Audrey Hinote talks deep on health of MINDSET, how to grow and how to take limitations off your own growth - why no one ever really "arrives" and how continual growth often requires fixating on the truth of the matter at hand, while maintaining a balance of adaptability - which means being flexible to change, and not getting married to certain "rules" that may keep you safe and secure for a time, but overall don't create opportunities to develop or experience what life can offer.

She reveals the wisdom from Carol Dweck's book simply called "Mindset," and tells stories about life, raising four kids, and how her own mindset has adapted over time through many learning experiences.

One of my favorite things she brought to the table was tweaking the phrase, "because I say so," when interacting with a kiddo or student to "why wouldn't you want to do that."  This allows for a dialogue to open, that encourages a kid's curiosity and asking questions, instead of the possibility of shutting down conversation, and rerouting curiosity into something less productive. Tune in to hear Audrey dig into MINDSET!
