Ian Wright is the Founder and CEO of Wrightspeed, and one of the four Co-Founders of Tesla alongside Elon Musk, Marc Tarpenning and Martin Eberhard.
After pitching Tesla to Elon Musk in a 2.5 hour pitching session, Ian left Tesla just one year after its founding, in 2004. Subsequently he went on to build the world's fastest street legal electric car in the world (a record which held for nearly 10 years) and is now leading Wrightspeed, a company that aims to design the "world's most efficient range-extended electric vehicle powertrains".
