Merry Christmas to all our listeners

In the first of our Christmas Podcasts, Chris Telford is joined by Andy Cummins, Declan Carroll and Steven Edwards as they preview some of the big races on Boxing Day. As per usual, the lads have studied hard and have a good few laughs along the way.

We start our betting preview with Kempton's card beginning with the Kauto Star Novice Chase where Shan Blue is a firm selection from all the panel. The Christmas Hurdle is a chance for Epatante to showcase his talents further while in the King George VI, the lads are divided on where the winner will come from.

We then head over the Irish Sea to Leopardstown and the Knight Frank Juvenile Hurdle where we have a short priced favourite in Zanahiyr. The Racing Post Novice Chase sees Felix Dejsy and Darver Star take each other on again and once again, the race divides opinion.

Over at Limerick we preview the Faugheen Novice Chase where Asterion Forlonge looks to put a stamp on his credentials but will have to brush up his jumping vs some of these in what looks a very decent renewal.

We finish the episode by analyzing the Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby, and this where we find out who Rowland Meyrick actually is. Thanks to Andy. Chris has a solid shout in this race, but is just hoping the horse takes up his entry.
