When we are walking down the street, minding our own business, we often don’t pay much attention to those around us. We should be able to get to where we need to go and feel safe along the way, not concerned that anyone is following us, or profiling us. That is a luxury most white people have, but for people of colour, sometimes doing something as simple as walking down the street can lead to senseless acts of violence resulting from racial profiling, discrimination and outright racism. That's what we will be talking about today as we uncover how Racism Killed Trayvon Martin.
