As proud children of immigrants and first-generation Asian Australians, we are incredibly grateful for our families' sacrifices and the hardships that they endured whilst escaping their lives in war-torn Vietnam.
In this episode, we're joined by our good friend David Tran. We all candidly share the tumultuous journeys that our loved ones went through. From leaving family members behind to whales guiding their family to safety, from accidentally getting on a boat to being rescued by the U.S Navy; we tell their extraordinary stories of bravery.
