Unabashedly Obsessed Episode 62: A TARDIS Full of Bras (Sweet Gender Flips)

About 18 months ago, Erin didn’t like the idea of a female Doctor, despite being generally pro-badass-female-characters. Well, we have a new Doctor incoming, and she’s got boobs. We unpack some of the implications of this, for ourselves as fans as well as on the whole, and also take a deeper look at the relationships between past Doctors and their companions and how  having a female Doctor might solve some of the problems we’ve seen in the past (and what new problems could now have an opportunity to arise).

Also, we talk about some other gender flips (“oh shit, sweet flips”) in mainstream media, how they have worked, and whether they have worked.
