Traitors Among Us continues the story of Ukrainian sisters Maria and Krystia Fediuk which began in the novels Don’t Tell the Enemy (published subsequently as Don’t Tell the Nazis) and Trapped in Hitler’s Web.
Maria (now 16) and Krystia (now 14) have survived the devastation of World War II in their native Ukraine. They are reunited in Germany and make their way to an American refugee camp in Karlsfeld, Germany. However when they are accused of being Nazi collaborators, they are imprisoned by the Soviets and threatened with execution.
