Gary was just brilliant, but then I would say that as I agreed with him - and that is at the heart of so much science. Paradigms are so incredibly difficult to shift and it was fascinating to learn how the current paradigm is so ingrained into a belief system. Infact as my background is politics I am always interested how journalism in politics is seen as a healthy thing, providing checks and balances whereas science self regulates itself.Â
His book The Case for Keto is available in book shops and also as an audio book, which I'm currently reading and can't recommend enough.Â
Anyway, we talked for well over an hour and a half so this is part one, part two will be out next week. Take care and really hope you enjoy this episode with Gary Taubes as much as I enjoyed recording it.Â
