Control versus freedom. Predictability versus unpredictability. Arbitrariness versus randomness.

Life is messy, and fluctuating, and we sometimes want to learn how to deal with the unknown better.

Here’s a bit of my story of how I learned to live with the chaos of a messy life.

I gave up thinking I could plan, and control, everything.

I understood that failure and sadness are a normal part of the learning/grieving process.

I learned to let go of my attachment to the details of what I loved and lost, while embracing the more important overall ideals and ideas of what I still want to get, so that I might find something similar but new that the universe might be happy to give me.

And I learned to see that the whole fluid movement of the interacting stories of all of our lives is beautiful on a large scale, even if the details of my own situations might be ugly sometimes.

The Big Picture:

My big goal that is getting very much closer, thanks to generous donations, is starting a non-profit community resource hub with resident artists, techies, and educators all working with the community to find creative solutions using available resources to serve the needs of the community members freely and unconditionally so that everyone can be their best possible selves. I’m currently (Summer 2018) starting to seriously look for (very cheap) property, ideally an old farm, probably in mid-coast Maine, and seeking folks who can help figure out the legal stuff of starting a non-profit or whatever, and putting the property into a trust so that it’s always there to serve the needs of those who live there.

I’ve also created a Patreon creator account for those who believe that my work is valuable and who have an excess number of banking points (aka $’s, £’s, ¥, or whatever).
