Spurs News – The team announced they waived Josh Primo on Friday, October 28thwhich shocked Spurs fans across the Alamo City. Then on Saturday, October 29thESPN reported that “Attorney Tony Buzbee told ESPN he has been retained by a woman who worked for the Spurs and has alleged Primo exposed himself to her. Attorney Tony Buzbee represented multiple women in the sexual misconduct lawsuits against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.”  A press conference is scheduled on Thursday in Houston as attorney Tony Buzbee will represent psychologist Dr. Hillary Cauthen.  Josh Primo did clear waivers on Sunday, October 29thand is now an unrestricted free agent.


In other Spurs, News Keldon Johnson was a nominee for Western Conference Player of the week.


New Spurs Docuseries is set to premiere today November 1st and will share 50 stories from the team's past and will include former players such as Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, David Robinson, George Gervin along with Coach Pop.


Team Injuries – It was revealed that Blake Wesley suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves and it was first reported he would miss 6-8 weeks. The Spurs however have now said updates will be provided as appropriate.

Coach Pop on Primo Langford's defense: "He might be our best on-ball defender. He just might be. He’s got quick feet, he’s got long arms, he anticipated really well."


More Pop on how Langford defended ANT: "He did a fine job. [Anthony] Edwards, he almost got away from us there for a while, and we ended up doing a pretty good job on him down the stretch."


NBA News –  Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN the Nets announced they have fired Steve Nash and now Jacque Vaugh is the interim head coach for now. It’s expected that the Nets will inquire about suspended Boston Head Coach Ime Udoka along with Quin Synder and others.


It’s also being reported that The Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, and San Antonio Spurs are threats to pry Grant Willams away from the Boston Celtics per NBA insider Sean Deveny.


“They will be in a position to offer him $17-$18 million and maybe frontload the contract to scare off the Celtics from matching.”
