On this episode Wes discusses today’s failure to communicate. People today do not want to face confrontation and will do whatever it takes to avoid it.  He summerizes his most recent interviews talking about how people talk to themselves and how words are used to influence people’s thinking and actions. 

Nowadays, self -checkout has become so common in every kind of store, even an auto store. Wes tells the story of his experience with lack of help and muses about how customer service has gone downhill. 

As a salesman, Wes understands the importance of being a good communicator in order to get his customers what they want. He prefers to use voice text so he can hear people’s emotions and what they are feeling.

He talks about how people want to avoid confrontation, so they resort to texting, as a result, they have no communication skills. 

In this episode, Wes goes over some of the most recent interviews discussing how people talk to themselves and how to change the negative way of thinking. 

Also, Wes talks about the victim mentality way of thinking in that it is always about what others do to you. He briefly talks about how to change that. 

Face to face communication these days is losing ground, and it’s needed to build and maintain relationships. Through these interviews and solo discussions, Wes is looking to have people think about how they communicate and make it more effective.
