My latest recommendation of shows to watch is the Chinese television series, Ashes of Love. Starring Deng Lun and Yang Zi. It's based on a novel Heavy Sweetness, Ash-like Frost by Dian Xian. (Its on Viki)
Before her mother dies after giving birth to Jinmi, she has a premonition that her daughter will suffer a great love trial, and gives her a magical pill that prevents her from feeling romantic love.
This causes her to get entangled in a love triangle with Fire Deity Xufeng and the Night Deity Runyu which basically brings about the ruins of the heavens cause men don't know how to act sometimes when it comes to love and old family secrets come to roost.
