Don't you love it when you do something and your first try is outstanding? Such was the case with Ray Palmer when he wrote My Faith Looks Up to Thee. Palmer, however, wasn't trying to create a great hymn, or necessarily pen a hymn at all. He was so taken with Christ's grace and love that he was filled with deepest emotion and the words flowed.
