Sometimes you've just got to hold your hands up and admit the other team was better than you. This is one of those times.

West Ham were just better than Burnley in every aspect of the pitch on Monday, and simply wanted it more with them fighting for a Champions League spot. Some of the defending could have been better but again in truth the crosses for both Burnley goals were pinpoint and took several defenders out the game.

Attention now turns to the Fulham game with Burnley still not mathematically safe and Fulham fighting for survival.
