In this episode: we talk with Sons Of Apollo’s lead singer Jeff Scott Soto about the band’s upcoming studio album “MMXX,” their performance with a full symphony orchestra (which was released as a concert film and CD in 2019), and what it’s like to work within this prog rock supergroup along side Mike Portnoy, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Billy Sheehan, and Derek Sherinian.
We also dive into Jeff’s amazing body of work outside of SOA, including his work with Journey, Yngwie Malmsteen, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, W.E.T., S.O.T.O., Kryst the Conqueror (which featured Jerry Only And Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstien), and Steel Dragon (the fictional band that’s the centerpiece for the movie “Rock Star.”)
