One Night In Miami (The Final Call)

In this episode the crew get together and discuss Amazon’s One Night in Miami. The movie takes place on the night Ali would become the heavyweight champion. It was the night on the cusps of these men making decisions that would change their lives and make them four of the most revered men in American History. Malcom X on the verge of leaving the Nation of Islam, Jim Brown later retires from football, Cassius Clay would become Muhammad Ali, and Same Cooke would write the theme music for civil rights and Black Americans from all walks of life. What this movie did was be the fly on a wall as these men sat in a motel room discussing the Black people’s plight in America and their responsibility to help end that plight.
