The Pew Research Center recently released its survey and findings on the state of Christianity in America and the news is not good for the church. In the USA, Christianity specifically is declining rapidly.  On the other hand, those who do not affiliate with any organized religion - the “nones” - are increasing.  By the year 2070 Christianity will be a minority religion in the US - or is it?  Some are skeptical of the recent studies but a general decline in interest in Christianity is evident.  But why is that? What is going on spiritually in the US?  Are the “nones” totally uninterested in spiritual things?  How do faithful followers of Jesus respond to this distressing news?
