Featured in TIR Episode 309 (Part 2 of 2): Original and newer members -- Jimmy Lee, Art Austin, Dr. Salaam and Carl Gray -- of Philadelphia R&B and funk group Fat Larry’s Band. The group released eight studio albums from 1976-1986 along with nearly 20 singles. Included among those were the four Top 40 U.S. Dance songs, being “Fascination,” “Here Comes the Sun,” “Lookin’ for Love Tonight” and “Act Like You Know.” 

In addition, the band’s song, “Zoom” – not to be confused with the Commodores’ track of the same name – went all the way up to No. 2 on the U.K. chart as well as No. 10 in Australia. They guys are reunited and embarking on a tour.
