Chillingham Castle is the scene for this weeks True Haunting episode and we are so excited to bring this one to you as we will be experiencing this site for ourselves in just a few weeks time as we travel the UK in April on our haunted road trip.

Chillingham has a history of bloodshed with marauding tribes of Scots and English endlessly killing each other over territory. It has stories of murder and torture and incredible suffering.

We long to wander it's long hallways and darkened stairwells seeking out the energies that seem trapped behind its stone walls.


The famous English poet Longfellow wrote a poem about Chillingham - it started like this!

”All houses in which men have lived and died are haunted houses:

Through the open doors the harmless phantoms on their errands glide,

with feet that make no sounds upon the floors.”
