Back in 2019, Dan, Chef Bagels, and Jesse recorded an episode of their sister show, PODCAST 1289, where they talked about a bunch of really stupid news articles involving Ted Bundy, along with a discussion about the Netflix film, "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile", which had just been released. In the wake of the overwhelmingly positive reception that episode received, the boys asked themselves "Hey, wouldn't it be kind of funny to watch terrible serial killer films and roast them on a brand-new podcast?" - and TRUE CRIME MOVIE CLUB was born!
