For the cannabis industry, managing contamination is a fact of life. Wildfires in California, for instance, have brought a host of negative impacts to cannabis cultivators in the region. Even those outside the path of the blaze, billowing smoke, and darkened skies, cannabis plants began flowering too soon. That forced farmers to harvest their crops early, and the smoke itself brought other damage besides.

Jill Ellsworth is the CEO of Willow Industries which offers ozone based microbial decontamination for cannabis. There are companies offering to help cannabis businesses salvage some of those damaged crops. Jesse talked with Jill to get the details on how this works.
